Thundebolt Events are working towards complying with 'Priority 2' of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines as we realise the importance of a website that is accessible to all, including the disabled.
Our website incorporates the following:
- Stylesheets (CSS) are used with relative font sizes.
- Text can be increased or decreased in size using the View Option in your browser.
- Images that convey information have alternative text (alt attribute).
- No information is communicated solely with colour.
- A site map is available showing the layout of the site, including in XML format (sitemap.xml).
- Frames are not used in the design.
- JavaScript is only used for enhancements, if JavaScript is disabled the site will continue to function normally.
- Access keys are used to allow a jump directly to content. Sighted users will see these when using the tab key to navigate a page.
