Terms & Conditions

Clients booking Thunderbolt Events or products and services affiliated to them, are bound by the following terms and conditions.

Bookings taken by phone, email or other such mediums form a binding agreement between both parties, and as such, the following should be observed:-

All outstanding fee's are payable 3 weeks in advance by cheque or 14 days in advance of the event by online bank transfer. Account facilities may be arranged for corporate clients.

In the event of payment of the final balance not being received as above Thunderbolt Events is not obliged to provide sound and lighting for the function. Thunderbolt Events then reserves the right to recover any outstanding costs at a later date.

Any delays in the start of an event that are not under the control of Thunderbolt Events, will not incur penalties or a reduced fee.

In the unlikely event that Thunderbolt Events have to cancel due to sickness or unforeseen circumstances, and that a suitable replacement cannot be found, any fees paid by the client shall be refunded in full. (This will be the full extent of the liability).

Should additional entertainment time be required, overtime is charged at the rate of £50 per hour at the discretion of Thunderbolt Events.

For Mobile Discos and Karaoke Thunderbolt Events requires access to the function room, a minimum of 1hour prior to the start time to set up and co ordinate sound and lighting and 1 hour minimum to pack up and vacate the venue. All other events will be negotiated at the time of booking.

In the unlikely event that the equipment should totally fail (excluding circumstances beyond Thunderbolt Event's control i.e. a power cut) a pro rata refund will be given for the time remaining.

Thunderbolt Events reserve the right to cancel services should it be discovered that the venue is unsuitable or dangerous. In these circumstances, no refund will be made.

It is the client's responsibility to ensure the venue is equipped with at least 2 working standard sockets.

If at any time, before or during the event, there is deemed a threat to the DJ or his property, Thunderbolt Events reserve the right to terminate services without further notice. In these circumstances, no refund will be made.

Photographic or recording equipment may be used at your event, for promotional purposes. If this is not acceptable, you should advise the DJ on the night, or in writing beforehand.

Smoke and/or strobe lighting maybe used. If you believe any of your guests may be affected by these effects, please advise accordingly.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellations advised 14 days (or more) prior to the event date will incur no fee.

Cancellations made between 7-13 days of the event will incur a booking fee charge of £100.

Cancellations made within 7 days of the event date, will incur the full fee.

Notice of cancellation should be made in person using the contact telephone numbers available on the website. Failing that, you may email or post your notice.

Please be advised that unless a cancellation is CONFIRMED, it is not yet considered final.

You should therefore ensure that you can provide evidence of the date you first attempted to cancel, in case of a dispute.
